SESA-ENERGICA Final Event: Africa in transition

SESA and ENERGICA projects are both working on Africa-Europe partnership for energy access, with demonstrators in Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Tanzania.ย
Their final event will be hosted in Brussels to showcase groundbreaking renewable energy solutions, explore key policy and investment opportunities, and highlight the role of local communities in driving sustainable change.

A Local and Scalable Energy Transition
Across Africa, communities are at the heart of crafting innovative, localised solutions tailored to their unique contexts. Discussions will explore impactful solutions in electric mobility, water treatment, clean cooking, mini-grids, and more, showcasing the role of natural resource conservation and innovation in these advancements.
Attendees will hear from experts and practitioners directly involved in piloting energy solutions in eleven African countries. The sessions will explore the key enabling factors for progress, including policy frameworks, private investment opportunities, and capacity-building initiatives.
Bridging Policy and Innovation
The event focuses on the projects alignment with major international initiatives, such as the EU-Africa: Global Gateway Investment Package and the AU-EU Innovation Agenda. The discussion will center on the transformation of pilot solutions into scalable business models, setting the stage for the next chapter of Africaโs energy transition.
The event is open to journalists, policymakers, researchers, NGOs, SMEs, and regulatory bodies interested in Africaโs energy transition.
